Hm, I think yes, everyone is entitled to an opinion on the SAME side of the coin we're all entitled to disagree or agree with said opinion. I think that's where fights get started, someone states an opinion that's not accepted by the general masses and the general masses ass rape you with "omgstfu" and "your teh stoopid" or something retarded, and then well
Though I often do see people say "You've never been through it, so how do you know?" which is in a way true, but it's still okay to have an opinion on the situation based upon how you think you MIGHT react to the situation if you were put into it. Its not like you're killing anyone.
I do strongly agree with you though, but i think the problem sincerely lies in the douche bags who wanna disagree with you in an either rude or really retarded manner, which ends up pissing you off, or giving you a serious headache XD

The reason for this stamp is something that's bothered me for years! Or, for a few years, since the event happened. And it's all, oddly, because of star wars!

See, I've seen the first two and thought they were utter rubbish, they lacked something the originals had in spades! When the third came out it was my opinion that the hype was just that, hype. My opinion was that it was gonna be just as bad, if not worse, than the other two. A "friend" jumped down my throat about it, bitching at me that I had no right whatsoever to express my opinion because I've never seen the movie so didn't know. Upset me quite a bit, because I'd seen him do just that! So I went to see the movie... My opinion was right!

But ever since then I've been very twitchy about my opinion and how people view it. I don't think I'm very controversial and I do listen to other people points of view and arguments. It's when people tell me I have no right to an opinion that I get annoyed! Even if you've not see something, or done something, or lived through something, you can still have an opinion of it!

And I apologise for ranting at you! *laughs* Sleep deprivation will do that to a person! And no, I don't mind you using the stamp at all! It's what it's there for!

I see, and agree about star wars i really don't like star wars at all. People often make it habit to tell me "Well you haven't seen it" i saw episode 1 and that's where it stopped. I don't like star wars at all, I think it's vastly overrated.
I dont' think i've ever had anyone tell me I have no right to my opinion, except my mom once, where I set her straight that I will have my opinions weather she agrees with them or not is her problem.
don't get me wrong, i love my mom, but I do have my own individual opinions when it comes down to certain things.
Like star wars, rest of the family loves it, I dislike it entirely. I like star Trek some, but only the first generation really.
