Now, I play World of Warcraft... I play on an RP realm. So people have to be IC at all times. When they say things, it appears on the screen. So... when they're NOT being IC, and talking OOC... I can still see (and read) what they say, even though they've just put brackets around the words. But everyone around them isn't allowed to see those words because the brackets are like a shield of something, blocking out the rest of the world!
And this, my dears, is utter bull shit! *laughs* Just to clarify, the little rant above is my own personal beef with WoW gamers! The OOC chat thing in normal RP is all fine and dandy and excepted! I'm not bitching about that or anything! This stamp is pretty much a joke because... well... as an RPer I'm guilty of OOC chat in IC threads just like most people!
